Make yourself at home
With you all the way, from check-in to check-out
Our booking portal opens: dates, availability and price, without going through anyone.
How to book
The most direct way is our booking portal: every available home is there, with its dates and price, and you book it there and then.
The same homes are on Airbnb, Booking.com and the other platforms: look for “Maison Métropole” in the name of the listing or in the host's profile. The conditions are the same.
Before you arrive you get the full instructions: the address, how to get in, what you'll find in the home and who to call if you need to.
What you find when you walk in
In most of our homes you let yourself in, with a code or a key safe, at the time that suits you within the time window shown. Where that isn't possible, we meet you in person. The instructions reach you before you do, and tell you the address, how to get in, what's in the home and who to call.
The home is clean and the beds are made: after every stay a team puts it back in order, changes the sheets and towels and checks that nothing is missing. If something breaks while you're there, you call us and we send someone to fix it.
These are flats, not hotel rooms: there's a proper kitchen, and you can do your own shopping. The instructions tell you where, along with the right bus or metro stop and where to leave the car.
Destinations
From the Alps to the coves of Sardinia: homes made for living each place the way the people who live there do.

The full instructions — address, how to get in, what's in the home and who to call — arrive before you do, and stay in the chat on the platform you booked with.
With the Maison Métropole app you check in before you leave home, so you don't lose time when you arrive, and you open the door with your phone. Check-in asks for an identity document for each guest: in Italy every host has to register their guests with the police, and the app lets you do it before you travel. Inside you'll also find the details of your stay and the homes you've saved. The app is free: download it for iPhone or for Android.
If you need anything while you're in the home, call +39 011 1962 0297 or message us on WhatsApp. On the other end is the person who looks after that home.
If you're staying more than a few nights
We don't only look after stays of a few days. If you're moving for an internship, a master's degree, a construction project or an assignment of a few months, we have homes let from one to twelve months, on the contracts Italian law provides for temporary stays and for students: furnished and ready, with bills and service charges already sorted, and one person to write to.
Stays like these aren't booked through the platforms: call us or write to us with the city, the dates and how many of you there are, and we'll tell you what we have.

All the villasQuestions guests ask us
All the questionsHow do I book a Maison Métropole home?
On our booking portal, where you see every available home with its dates and price, or on Airbnb, Booking.com and the other platforms where our listings are. The conditions are the same. If you're not sure about availability, write to us.
How does check-in work?
Before you arrive you get the full instructions. In most of our homes you let yourself in with a code or a key box, at the time that suits you within the window shown. Where that isn't possible, we meet you in person.
Why do you ask for an identity document?
Because in Italy every host has to register their guests with the police. You can do it before you travel with the online check-in in our app, so there's nothing to fill in when you arrive.
Is the tourist tax included?
Where the city applies it, the tourist tax is charged per person and per night on short stays, under the city's own rules. Each council sets its own rates and exemptions, and publishes them on its website.
Is there someone to contact during my stay?
Yes. Our numbers are in the arrival instructions and in the chat on the platform you booked with. The person who answers is the one who looks after that home.
What is the cancellation policy?
The one shown on the platform where you booked, always visible before you confirm. If you booked on our portal, you'll find it in your confirmation.
Can I arrive early or leave late?
If the home is free, yes. Write to us before you arrive and we'll tell you whether it's possible and whether there's a charge.
