Our homes in Palermo are in the old town — the Kalsa, the Vucciria — around the Politeama and Via Libertà, and at Mondello for the summer.
On the other side of the island we also look after a home in Marzamemi, in the province of Syracuse.
We also have homes in Turin, Milan, Rome, Genoa, Savona and Olbia. If you own a home in Palermo, this is how we manage it.
Getting there, and getting in
Your arrival guide explains how to get there from Punta Raisi airport and from the port, and gives you the code to get in, the markets and trattorias we recommend, and our contact details.
Check-in, cleaning and what happens if something breaks work the same way in every city: how staying with us works.
Palermo through the year
Palermo has a long season. From March to November people come for the old town, the markets, the sea at Mondello and trips around the island, and the airport has direct flights from all over Europe. The busiest months are June to September; high season runs from Easter to the end of October.
In winter there are fewer visitors, but the city doesn't empty: events, work and the university keep it going.
The tourist tax
Palermo charges a tourist tax on short stays — the imposta di soggiorno — per person and per night. The rate and the exemptions are set by the council and change from time to time: the current ones are on the City of Palermo website (in Italian).

Staying for a few months
In the winter months the university and the hospitals bring people to Palermo for a few months at a time. For them we have homes let from one to twelve months.
Stays like these aren't booked through the platforms: tell us the dates, how many of you there are and why you're coming, and we'll tell you what we have.
