Staying in Milan

Homes a short walk from the metro, with clear directions from the airports and from Milano Centrale.

Where our homes are

Neighbourhoods

  • Brera
  • Navigli
  • Porta Romana
  • Isola
  • Città Studi
  • Porta Venezia

Our homes in Milan are in the neighbourhoods people want to stay in: Brera, the Navigli, Porta Romana, Isola, Città Studi and Porta Venezia, each of them close to a metro stop.

Just outside the city we also have a home in Rho, where the Fiera Milano exhibition centre is.

Planning the trip? Milan Design Week: a practical guide.

We also have homes in Turin, Rome, Genoa, Savona, Palermo and Olbia. If you own a home in Milan, this is how we manage it.

Getting there, and getting in

Before you travel you get directions from the airports and from Milano Centrale, the code to get in, where to do the shopping and where to leave the car if you have one — and the name of the person to write to if you need anything during your stay.

Check-in, cleaning and what happens if something breaks work the same way in every city: how staying with us works.

Milan through the year

Milan doesn't have one season. There are the weeks of the trade fairs and of the Salone del Mobile in April, when the city is full and prices go up; and there are the months when people come for work — professionals on assignment, doctors, researchers — or to study at the universities.

If your dates fall in one of the fair weeks, it's worth booking early.

The tourist tax

Milan charges a tourist tax on short stays — the imposta di soggiorno — per person and per night. The rate and the exemptions are set by the council and change from time to time: the current ones are on the City of Milan website (in Italian).

Staying for a few months

If you're coming for a work assignment, a research post or a course, we have homes let from one to twelve months. Città Studi and Porta Romana suit those stays well: they're close to the universities and the hospitals.

Stays like these aren't booked through the platforms: tell us the dates, how many of you there are and why you're coming, and we'll tell you what we have.
