In Genoa we look after homes in the old town, Castelletto, Albaro and the other neighbourhoods nearby: short-, mid- or long-term rentals, with listings, prices, guests, cleaning and maintenance handled by us and a statement every month. The visit is free.

In Genoa, it’s the port and the sea that keep a home busy. The cruise ships, the Aquarium, the Salone Nautico boat show in the autumn and the concerts bring short stays to the old town and the Castelletto hill; the university and the port businesses look for mid-term lets for people who come to work for a few months. The most sought-after homes are in the caruggi (the narrow lanes of the old town), in Albaro, at the Foce and near Boccadasse, provided they are easy to reach and easy to explain to someone arriving.

Genoa has steps, public lifts and lanes: in the arrival instructions we describe the right route, and in the home we leave what people need to find their way. We look at this too when we visit, because a beautiful home that’s hard to find earns less than it could.

Questions about Genoa

All the questions
Can a home without a lift be let in Genoa?

Yes, if we say so clearly in the listing and in the instructions. Many Genoese homes are on the upper floors: the people who choose them know it. Location and how well the home is kept matter more.

How does the tourist tax work in Genoa?

The city council applies it, per person and per night, under its own rules: rates, exemptions and deadlines are on the council's website, linked on this page. How it's handled for your home we agree with you at the start; for tax matters, your accountant is the reference.

Do you do property visits in Genoa too?

Yes: we arrange a visit and tell you in person what the home needs and what it could earn. If the home is outside the areas we cover, we tell you straight away, so you don’t waste your time.

How much does the service cost?

A percentage of confirmed bookings. No monthly fee: if the home doesn't earn, you don't pay. The percentage depends on the service and the city, and we put it in writing in the estimate.

What do I receive every month?

The statement: bookings, expenses and our commission, line by line. If you want to check before the month is over, there's our app. All the arrangements are agreed with you and written into the contract.

What could your home earn in Genoa?

Four fields and we call you back. The estimate is free and doesn't commit you to anything.
